A festive gathering on Friday 8 April marked the official kick-off for the construction of a Sustenso biodigester. The digester will have a capacity of 100,000 tons of green waste per year, good for the production of 8 million m3 of green gas, and will be located at InVesta at the Energy Innovation Park in Alkmaar. This makes Sustenso Boekelermeer the first company to lease space and facilities from InVesta.
Sustenso’s project was created in close collaboration with InVesta. Sustenso will use InVesta’s infrastructure and facilities. Work on InVesta’s new building on Diamantweg at the Energy Innovation Park in Alkmaar is now in full swing. Starting this summer, space will become available here for pilot and demonstration projects in the areas of green gas, hydrogen and other sustainable energy carriers.
